Ear Seeding (Auriculotherapy)  is one of the Traditional Chinese Medicine practices of auriculotherapy, which uses small seeds or metal beads placed on specific points of the ear. Ears, as well as soles of our feet, are said to represent the entire body. Thus, pressing on specific points of the ear for a certain time stimulates nerves, reduces stress and anxiety, improves sleep quality, manages pain and promotes relaxation by targeting points connected to bodily systems.

It is also used worldwide as supplementary palliative care for PTSD (Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder), and particularly well-known examples including the US military’s “Battlefield Acupuncture” (BFA) and the “NADA Protocol” for addiction treatment.
