Sachiko Miyawaki

Message from Sachiko

Hello. My name is Sachiko Miyawaki.

I am from Japan. I have lived in Canada for almost 20 years.

I was introduced to the health benefits of oriental medicine from an early age. In Japan, my uncle has been an anma masseur for over 40 years. Also, throughout her life my mother has regularly attended an acupuncture and moxibustion clinic. And I myself have been receiving acupuncture and acupressure since I was a child.

Due to these influences and my own experience, I became interested to become a holistic practitioner in order to help others experience these therapeutic benefits. I was a student of the shiatsu massage program at the Tokyo Health Institute, graduating in December 2005.

Since shiatsu massage has helped me personally to overcome back pain, stiff muscles, and other body stresses and discomforts, I believe that I am able to understand your feeling. My goal is to provide my clients with relief from your pain and stiffness points, to promote full body and mind relaxation, and to bring a smile to your face, and also to mine.
