Treatment Options
Japanese-Style Shiatsu
Shiatsu therapy is a form of manipulation administered by thumbs, fingers and palms without the use of any instrument, mechanical or otherwise to apply pressure to human skin.
Shiatsu corrects internal malfunctioning, promotes health and treats specific diseases.
Japanese-Style Acupuncture
Acupuncture is a type of holistic approach originated in China about 5,000 years ago, and is most commonly associated with traditional Chinese medicine.
Swedish Massage
Swedish Massage is one of the most common types of massage. It is also called classical massage. It helps the body to relax by releasing muscle tension.
It is softer compared to deep tissue massage and is suited for people interested in releasing their muscle tension.
Reflexology
Reflexology is a science which deals with the principle that there are reflex areas in the feet and hands which correspond to all of the glands, organs and parts of the body.
Stimulating these reflexes properly can help many health problems in a natural way; it is a type of preventative maintenance.
Moxibustion
Moxibustion is an oriental medicine therapy utilizing moxa, or mugwort herb. It plays an important role in the traditional medical systems of China, Japan, Korea, Vietnam, Tibet, and Mongolia.
Suppliers usually age the mugwort and grind it up to a fluff; practitioners burn the fluff or process it further into a stick that resembles a (non-smokeable) cigar.
Cupping
We offer cupping usually along shiatsu sessions.
Cups are placed along the back or a main muscle to drain excess, release muscle tension, improve blood circulation and expel pathogenic factors. Please be advised that is normal for it to leave marks that will go away after a few days.
Cupping is performed by some of our therapists.
