Mayumi Ogiwara – Registered Acpuncture (R.Ac)
Mayumi is a Registered Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioner and Acupuncturist. She graduated from the Advanced Diploma in Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioner program at Humber Polytechnic, where she completed extensive hands-on clinical training.
Previously, she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Phonoaudiology and received certification in Acupuncture and Electro-acupuncture in Brazil. She also gained several years of experience working in her family-run Acupuncture and Physiotherapy clinic in Brazil.
Her goal is to help patients restore balance, relieve physical and mental discomfort, and improve overall well-being through acupuncture—including auricular, intradermal, and electro-acupuncture—moxibustion, and acupressure/tuina. By integrating these modalities, she creates individualized treatment plans for each patient’s unique constitution and health goals to support recovery and maintain harmony.
